Hello Again!

Well we are progressing well and the baby bump is growing weekly. It is week 16, day 6 and I cannot fit into most of my normal pants. Crazy!  Just in the last week my baby bump has doubled in size, or atleast it feels that way.

We will be finding out the gender of the baby at the end of April and we are SO excited! 

I know I need to post some pictures but I didn't feel like I was showing enough to take a bunch, but we will definitely start doing that and posting more as we progress along.

I know this is a short post, but I just wanted to do a quick update letting everyone know that we are doing well.

15 Weeks and counting...

It is week 15, day 5. This morning was a rough start to what was looking like a long day. Yes it is Friday and I am so grateful for that, but the unforeseen nausea and weakness that struck my body was not so pleasant. I have truly been blessed with a mild pregnancy thus far with little to no nausea, no sickness and really feeling good other than tiredness. I've read that the nausea is supposed to subside in the second trimester; therefore, I am slightly considered as to why mine is getting worse. I hope and pray that this is not a new trend.

We have our next baby appointment this upcoming Monday, 3/26. It is just a quick check-up to make sure momma and baby are still doing good. At this appointment they will schedule me to go see the radiology department ofr our gender reveal ultrasound.....ahhhhhh.....I can't wait!  I have been putting off everything baby until we find out. No baby shopping, no nothing!  Those of you that know me well....you know this is driving me crazy inside b/c I am such a planner, but I know that I just have to be patient (anxiously waiting more less) :-)
We should find out sometime in April whether baby "cookie" is a boy or a girl.

Cravings: Chips, Salsa & Queso....Mexican food cravings just like my mom had with me!  Crazy!

It is official....I am pregnant!! I am 12 weeks and 3 days along and feeling great. There are a few mornings when the morning sickness kicks in, but thankfully I haven't actually been sick. There are definite days I feel preggo and yesterday was one of them.

My baby bump app tells me that the baby is the size of a lime this week and it will double in size over the next week. Crazy!  I have been able to feel a change in my body from the beginning, but I can definitely start to see a change in my physical body.

I have been researching baby stuff for a while now trying to find baby beds I like that my husband, Chris, can build for our sweet little one.

We have nicknamed the baby "Cookie" to avoid calling him or her an "It". So if I reference Cookie in later posts you will be able to follow that I am talking about the baby.
